Magnan’s sculpture is also featured at the UMass School of Law. DESCRIPTION:WAREHAM — Damien’s Food Pantry provides food to residents of Bristol\, Plymouth and Barnstable counties on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon. \nIts mission is to help end hunger in the South Coast region of Massachusetts by providing food to individuals experiencing food insecurity\, promoting education and awareness about hunger in our community\, and providing information to our guests about other community resources. All are welcome. \nFirst-time visitors will need to provide information about their household. They are required to complete a short application\, show proof of residency\, and verify all occupants residing in the home. Verifications will be required annually. New applications are accepted Thursdays and Saturdays between 8-11:30 a.m. \nThe last shop of the day will start at 11:45 a.m.  Anyone arriving after 11:45 a.m. will receive a pre-packaged box of food. \nThe pantry will be closed Friday\, July 4- Monday\, July 7. \nThe organization makes food available to over 1\,200 households monthly.  If you or someone you know needs food\, please contact us.   The pantry is located at 242 Marion Road\, Wareham\, MA 02571.  Mailing Address: P.O. Box 730\, East Wareham\, MA 02538.  Phone: 508-295-3486 / Fax: 508-299-6582. \nVolunteers are often sought. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer\, please phone the pantry at: 508-295-3486 and leave your name and phone number or apply online here.  \nThe opportunities range from food distribution\, stocking shelves to data entry and translation services.  Volunteers who work the backroom should be able to lift 25 pounds. If you are unable to physically volunteer at the pantry\, but would still like to help\, we have opportunities for remote activities. \nHere is more information about volunteer opportunities.   \nThe pantry depends on financial support\, volunteers and food donations from individuals\, corporations\, agencies\, and foundations to help feed the hungry.  Donations are tax deductible.

Rides leave every 30 minutes from noon to 4:30 p.m. and last about 30 minutes.\n\nTickets are available on-site only at the outside bar for $10\, or $7.50 for wine club members.\n\nThe tractor-pulled wagon travels through the vineyard to the lower field\, offering views of the vines\, river\, and areas not usually open to the public. Each rider can also choose a souvenir pumpkin to take home.\n\nHayrides are weather permitting.

DESCRIPTION:Buzzards Bay Brewing’s 2026 corn maze runs Saturdays and Sundays from Sept. 5 through Nov. 1. The 7-acre maze features a movie-themed challenge called “Moovies.” Guests search for movie scenes\, solve rhymes\, and match secret words to films on a game card. \nHours are 1 p.m. to around 6 p.m.\, with last admission about 45 minutes before sunset. Tickets are $12 for ages 12 and older and $9 for ages 4 to 11. Children 3 and younger are free. Tickets are sold at the brewery. \nAn easier outer-edge path is available for those who prefer a shorter walk through the cornfield. The maze closes on rainy days. \nDogs are welcome as long as they are leashed and owners clean up after them.

DESCRIPTION:The New Bedford Symphony Orchestra’s South Coast Chamber Music Series will open its season with “Semiquincentennial\,” an all-American 250th celebration\, on Saturday\, Sept. 26\, at 3 p.m. at St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church\, 124 Front St.\, Marion. Tickets are $35.\n\nWorks by John Corigliano\, Peter Schickele\, Missy Mazzoli and Amy Beach are showcased. Corigliano’s “STOMP” for solo violin opens the program\, followed by Schickele’s “American Dreams\,” Mazzoli’s “Lies You Can Believe In\,” and Beach’s Piano Quintet in F-sharp Minor.\n\nNBSO performers include concertmaster Emma Powell and violinist EmmaLee Holmes-Hicks\, violist Anna Griffis\, cellist Leo Eguchi\, and pianist Janice Weber.
