Each one brings character to the space. \nJohn Magnan shifted to art after an early retirement from a technical career. The change led to studies at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Magnan later earned an MFA in sculpture from UMass Dartmouth. Solo exhibitions have appeared in several locations. Permanent installations stand in hospitals and public spaces. Magnan’s sculpture is also featured at the UMass School of Law.
