Rain or holidays may shift spraying to Friday mornings.\n\nSpraying can also be requested for private property through the Bristol County Mosquito Control Project between June and September.\n\nHealth officials recommend using insect repellent\, wearing long sleeves outdoors at dusk\, and draining standing water around homes to help reduce mosquito activity.

DESCRIPTION:WAREHAM — Damien’s Food Pantry provides food to residents of Bristol\, Plymouth and Barnstable counties on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon. \nIts mission is to help end hunger in the South Coast region of Massachusetts by providing food to individuals experiencing food insecurity\, promoting education and awareness about hunger in our community\, and providing information to our guests about other community resources. All are welcome. \nFirst-time visitors will need to provide information about their household. They are required to complete a short application\, show proof of residency\, and verify all occupants residing in the home. Verifications will be required annually. New applications are accepted Thursdays and Saturdays between 8-11:30 a.m. \nThe last shop of the day will start at 11:45 a.m.  Anyone arriving after 11:45 a.m. will receive a pre-packaged box of food. \nThe pantry will be closed Friday\, July 4- Monday\, July 7. \nThe organization makes food available to over 1\,200 households monthly.  If you or someone you know needs food\, please contact us.   The pantry is located at 242 Marion Road\, Wareham\, MA 02571.  Mailing Address: P.O. SUMMARY:Super Troopers Figure Drawing at Play Arcade
DESCRIPTION:The Siren Scene will bring artists together for a Super Troopers-inspired figure drawing session Thursday\, Aug. 13 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Play Arcade in New Bedford. Fee is $15. \nA male model will pose in a state trooper-inspired costume with aviator sunglasses\, an exaggerated mustache\, traffic cones\, a ticket book and other playful props. The session will begin with shorter poses before moving into longer poses of about 25 minutes. \nEach pose is designed as a small narrative scene. Artists can study form\, costume\, expression\, silhouette\, and visual storytelling while working from a fully clothed model. \nArtists\, illustrators\, students\, designers\, animation professionals and curious beginners are welcome. Previous figure drawing experience is helpful but not required. \nParticipants should bring their own paper or sketchbook and preferred dry drawing materials. Drawing boards are recommended. Advance registration through Eventbrite is encouraged.
