Magnan later earned an MFA in sculpture from UMass Dartmouth. Solo exhibitions have appeared in several locations. Permanent installations stand in hospitals and public spaces. Magnan’s sculpture is also featured at the UMass School of Law. It is the first joint show in 35 years for married artists Susan Medyn and David Formanek.\n\nMedyn works with honeybee colonies. She places frameworks in active hives. Bees build\, reshape\, or dismantle them.\nFormanek focuses on wax. He uses a process rooted in lost wax casting. He creates swirling forms. He adds small sculpted figures. The works become wall-mounted reliefs.\n\nBoth are beekeepers. The exhibition explores transformation\, structure\, and the line between intention and emergence.
