Youth Day of Caring
April 14 @ 7:30 am - 2:30 pm

United Way of Greater New Bedford’s Youth Day of Caring brings together high school students across Greater New Bedford to volunteer for one day and make a difference in their communities.
The day will feature cleanups at Brooklawn Park, West Beach, Hazelwood Park, Community Boating Center and Haskell Public Gardens.
Youth Day of Caring Agenda:
7:30 – 8:30 am – Students are picked up at schools and brought to Downtown New Bedford for YDOC kickoff
8:30 – 9 am – Kickoff at NB Free Public Library. Students will receive t-shirts & light breakfast. Kickoff will feature short welcomes from United Way of Greater New Bedford, our event sponsor, and the City of New Bedford.
9 – 9:30 am – Students will arrive at volunteer sites and complete various projects throughout the day.
1 – 2:30 pm – Students will be picked up at various locations and returned to school.
