An in-person yoga program for people with early Parkinson’s will begin on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 10:30 a.m.
This small-group class will feature yoga postures/movements and standing practices on the mat which are specifically tailored to address the challenges Parkinson’s may pose. Participants for this class should be able to get up and down from the floor safely without assistance. Yoga teachers Nanci Winterhalter and Jeff Costa will sensitively guide the classes.
The fee for 6 weekly sessions is $75 dollars and scholarships are available. This program is supported by a grant from the American Parkinson Disease Association MA Chapter.
