A favorite since 1970, the Whaling City Festival has filled Buttonwood Park with the excitement of pro wrestling shows, a car show, amusement rides, kids’ activities, and various vendors. Oh, and don’t forget the festival food. Hours are 3 to 8 p.m. July 6, noon to 8 p.m. July 7-9.
Wristbands are $30 if ordered in advance at fiestashows.com or $35 on-site at ticket booths. Buy a wristband and ride all of the rides all night.
