UMass Intercampus Marine Science Research Symposium

Hosted by the SMAST Graduate Student Association, the Intercampus Marine Science (IMS) Research Symposium is an opportunity for all UMass IMS Program faculty, research staff, and students to share their current or proposed research, receive feedback, and build their CV.
This in-person event is free and is open to the public.
Call for posters, photos, & judges
Poster:
Posters will be presented in a casual interactive format during the poster sessions. Each poster presenter will also present a 3 to 5-minute “lightning talk” summarizing their poster. Awards will be provided for the best overall poster presentation and best lightning talk. The deadline to register to present a poster is Monday, March 13th. Please us this link to submit your poster title, authors, abstract (250-word maximum) and upload your poster. See the poster guidelines information on poster presentations!
Photo contest:
Are you a marine science photographer, or just have some fun candid selfies? Enter our photography contest! Photos must pertain to marine science (field research, underwater photos, lab experiments, you or your friends conducting research, etc.). Please visit our photo contest page for more information on how to enter (and possibly win) the photo contest.
