Three-day offshore wind training for businesses owned by underrepresented groups

The Business Network for Offshore Wind and Vineyard Wind is offering a free, three-day supply chain training program in New Bedford. The program will be offered to Massachusetts-based businesses owned by underrepresented groups, such as women, veterans, minorities, tribes, individuals with disabilities and LGBTQ individuals.
The training will provide an overview of the expanding offshore wind industry in the United States and offer insight into how businesses can enter the supply chain. It will take place in person at the Cape Verdean Veterans Hall, 561 Purchase St., New Bedford, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. from March 7 through March 9.Â
