The Taste of Southcoast

SouthCoast restaurants, bakeries, and caterers are featured at the Taste of SouthCoast. Between noon and 3:15 p.m., participants serve sample-sized portions of their signature dishes. In addition to keeping track of their sampling, participants will be able to vote in three categories: “People’s Choice Award for Food,” “People’s Choice Award for Dessert,” and “Best Booth Presentation.” By 4:30 p.m., the votes are tallied, and awards are presented. As the afternoon progresses, live music will be played all afternoon, and beer, wine, and soft drinks will be served until 5 p.m. The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. New Bedford’s Madeira Field will serve as the new venue for the event.
