Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s 19th-century fairy tale, New Bedford Ballet’s 37th annual full-length ballet will be performed at the Zeiterion Theatre on Saturday, June 10, at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. The ballet features choreography by New Bedford Ballet’s artistic director Rebecca Waskiel-Marchesseault, and ballet instructors, Pamela Mateus, Nicole Gallo, and Louisa Chapman. Students are supported and coached by Eugenia Zinovieva, Katherine Bickford, and Samantha Watkins.
Reserved tickets are $25, and general admission prices are $20 for adults and $15 for seniors, students, and children 12 and under. Tickets may be purchased on the Zeiterion website, www.zeiterion.org, or by contacting the Zeiterion Box Office by phone at (508)-994-2900. New Bedford Ballet offers a group discount of 10% to assisted living facilities, senior centers, nursing homes, and non-profits.
