Domingos Rebêlo (1891-1975) created thousands of works of art that reflected his Portuguese identity and culture and honored his Azorean roots. The seminal exhibition, “The Azorean Spirit: The Art of Domingos Rebêlo,” runs from March 31–September 22, 2022, in the Wattles Family Gallery at the Whaling Museum.
The exhibition opening and artist talk are on April 7 from 6–8 p.m., in-person and virtual.
