Statewide Firearm Safety Listening Tour

While communities across the Commonwealth struggle to combat firearm violence, we know that some communities struggle to combat this violence occurring at disproportionate rates in their neighborhoods.
The Joint Committee on the Judiciary scheduled this stop at GNB Voc-Tech to hear from community leaders, the public and violence prevention programs as to why the New Bedford area is disproportionately impacted by gun violence so that we can try to understand what we as a Legislature can do to help in that struggle.
