Spin Me A Yarn! at the Mattapoisett Museum
October 7 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
A volunteer will offer informal yarn-spinning demonstrations using the museum’s 18th-century walking wheel. The museum has restored the wheel to working order, and visitors are welcome to watch how wool is turned into yarn and try out the wheel.
This event is free and open to the public. It is funded through a generous grant from the Mass Cultural Council.
