Special City Council Meeting

The New Bedford City Council will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 29 in city council chambers at City Hall.
On the agenda:
- A recommendation to adopt a new sewer rate with a 7.7% increase from last year (from $6.67 to $7.18), effective July 1.
- A recommendation to adopt a loan order for $7,850,000 for the purpose of making critically needed repairs to city-owned buildings, recreational facilities, roads and infrastructure.
