Sippican Lands Trust Poker Paddle 2023

Join the Sippican Lands Trust for a fun-filled summer evening on Tuesday, Aug. 1 from 4-8 p.m. at Island Wharf in Marion and paddle Sippican Harbor for prizes.
Come celebrate the connection between protecting open space and the beautiful, diverse waters of Buzzards Bay. Help support the Sippican Lands Trust as you paddle in the early evening on the usually quiet and wildlife filled upper harbor.
There will be five checkpoints near Sippican Lands Trust protected lands. At each spot you’ll collect a card. The best poker hand at the end of the night wins a cash prize, and there will be other prizes, including a prize for the most spirited boat.
Not a race but you’ll need to check in between 4 and 6 p.m. and plan to be out of the water by 7:30 pm. Check in, boat drop, and prize event at Island Wharf. Depending upon your navigation this would be about a 4 mile paddle. Most paddlers will take 1.5 to 2 hours to paddle this in a canoe, kayak or SUP.
