With bandleader Steven Bernstein on slide trumpet (and browbeating and tune-smithery), Briggan Krauss on alto and baritone saxophones, Tony Scherr on bass, and Kenny Wollesen on drums, Sexmob is an all-star jazz band. Their raw, improvisational groove and swing, endlessly inventive arrangements, and uproarious sense of fun have changed the game. For 27 years, they exceeded all rigid boundaries of genre and taste while displaying high musical standards.
