Seeking extras for filming of ‘Finestkind’

April 21, 2022

Kendall Cooper Casting is now accepting submissions for extras to work on the  upcoming feature film “Finestkind” directed by Brian Helgeland. Filming will be in New  Bedford and surrounding areas April through June 2022.  

The casting team is seeking experienced commercial fishermen and local New Bedford  people of all ethnicities who are interested in working as extras on the film. Specifically  looking to represent the diverse population unique to the New Bedford area (Cape Verdean, Portuguese and more). Casting is also seeking African American and/or  mixed children and newborns.  

The deadline for applying is April 22, but earlier applications are greatly appreciated.

Filming will generally take place Monday through Friday and is often a 12+ hour  commitment for each day of work. Extra roles typically work 1, 2 or 3 three days  sometime during the filming schedule. See the link below for how to submit. A member  of the Kendall Cooper Casting team will contact you via the email address you provide  in your submission if you are selected for a role. Casting will be ongoing throughout the  filming schedule.
