Sails of Portugal Wine and Food Tasting Fundraiser

Enjoy an evening of wine and Portuguese food from local restaurants while raising money to support the Azorean Maritime Heritage Society. This fundraiser will occur on Saturday, May 13, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the United Fishermen Club in New Bedford.
The Society, founded in 1997, promotes Azorean culture, shared whaling heritage and cultural on- and off-water programming, participation in the 12th International Azorean Whaleboat Regatta this September in New Bedford, and the community scholarship fund.
Tickets cost $50 per adult and include all wine and food tastings. There will be a plentiful assortment of dishes provided by local restaurants and a cash bar. The event will include a raffle to win a three-night stay and tour package in Faial (Azores). There will also be a silent auction with items such as a private sail and lunch by the bay in Falmouth, art, museums, golf packages, round trip flight for two, gift cards for local restaurants and shops, and much more.
