Sailors’ Series: Crew of Three

September 7 @ 6:00 pm

$10 – $20

Kimberly Ward, author of “Crew of Three: How Bold Dreams and Detailed Plans Launched Our Family’s Sailing Adventure,” her husband Michael, and Ally, their 19-year-old daughter, will give a first-hand account of their two-year adventure on the water.

In 2014, Kimberly, Michael, and ten-year-old Ally set sail from Massachusetts aboard their 34-foot Gemini catamaran for a two-year adventure on the water, leaving behind the comfort of their ordinary suburban life for Grenada. The “Crew of Three” will discuss their reentry into life on land, the stories within Kimberly’s memoir, and how their travels inspired them all to alter their lifestyles. Collectively, they have more than 40,000 nautical miles of sailing experience.

A light reception will follow the lecture. Ticket link ($10 for members and $20 for non-members)
