River Day 2023

The Westport River Watershed Alliance and the Westport Land Conservation Trust host River Day, a free, family-friendly festival at the Head of Westport. Native American culture and traditions will be highlighted with Wampanoag Experience exhibitions, drumming, and dancing. Many local vendors and exhibitors will be on hand, as well as food and children’s game and activities. The mishoon, or traditional canoe of the Wampanoag, will be dedicated at a 1:30 p.m. ceremony.
