Revolution 250

Historical Lecture about the 1778 British raid on Olde Dartmouth (New Bedford, Fairhaven, Dartmouth, and Acushnet) at 2 pm. on Sunday, Oct. 15 at the Fort Taber~Fort Rodman Military Museum.
This lecture will commemorate the 250 Anniversary of events leading up to the Revolutionary War.
The British landed 4,000 troops in Clark’s Cove and proceeded to burn the villages on both sides of the Acushnet River and in Padanaram.
This historical talk will be given by Jonathan Lane, President of REV250, a consortium of 70 organizations throughout Massachusetts studying our role in defending and securing American Independence.
No charge to attend, ample free parking at Fort Taber Park.
