Event Series:
Playback Theater: Storytelling in Action
Playback Theater: Storytelling in Action
June 28 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Participants will learn to use applied theatre to transform personal stories into spontaneous theatre pieces using movement, ritual, music, and spoken improvisation. They will share their stories and learn to bring these stories to life, and discover the applications and settings for Playback Theatre.
Stories are how we understand our world, who we are, where we have come from, and what we may have come through. These moments can be touchstones, full of power and significance. Playback Theatre develops intuition, insight, creativity, empathy, and effective communication skills in many settings.
This workshop is recommended for adults: no theatre experience is needed. The sliding scale fee is $20–$40 per session.
