Works by Fitzcarmel LaMarre will be on display at the MaiatoFitz Art Gallery & Studio throughout November. The opening reception for the New Bedford artist is Saturday, Nov. 6, from 11 a.m.–3 p.m.
Fitzcarmel is a creative educational developer and program director, a home school workshop educator, muralist, portrait artist, graphic designer, and a former public school art teacher. He is currently working on his graphic novel NEW DEADFORD, an inclusive community project including creative workshops for at-risk, underserved youth at the New Bedford Housing Authority’s Blue Meadow Property and Our Sisters’ School.
