The New Bedford Redevelopment Authority will meet at 4 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 11 in the Ashley Room at City Hall.
On the agenda:
- Discussion and update on property management needs at 175 MacArthur Drive
- Vote to authorize immediate property maintenance at 175 MacArthur Drive
- Vote to begin to pursue steps to demolish the buildings and structures at 175 MacArthur Drive
- Vote to authorize a property insurance policy for 175 MacArthur Drive not to exceed $10,000, as well as general liability not to exceed $1,500
- Vote to authorize a fire and alarm system monitoring contract for 175 MacArthur Drive not to exceed $1,000
- Update SAMS registration renewed
- Discussion and update on operational and financial capacity of the Authority, including financial management, operational support, development of policies and procedures and development of intermunicipal agreements
- Discussion to set a recurring meeting date series
- Executive session to discuss the purchase, lease, exchange or value of a real property
