NB Creative Info Session: ARTnet and Art is Everywhere

November 28 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

New Bedford Creative facilitates several grant programs to help advance New Bedford as one of the most culturally unique and creative cities in America. Funding from 2022-2024 is provided by the City of New Bedford’s ARPA/American Rescue Plan Act, supported by federal award number SLFRP1067 awarded to The City of New Bedford by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

Join us for an information session to review eligibility, grant guidelines, and how to apply to these two programs (this session will be translated into Spanish or Portuguese):

Art is Everywhere! is a grant program that prioritizes creative solutions to expedite the recovery of the COVID-19 pandemic. Projects must directly impact one or more current challenges facing residents, visitors and/or businesses in New Bedford’s neighborhoods. Projects that advance diversity, equity, inclusion and access (DEIA) in all forms will be prioritized, as well as projects that limit the spread of COVID-19 by enabling greater use of outdoor spaces. Applications are currently open, with a deadline of December 15th, 2022 for Phase one, deadline of December 30th, 2022 for Phase two.

ARTnet is a new artist recovery and training network to help artists recover from the economic impacts of the pandemic by providing financial support, business planning support, training workshops, and access to a network of creative-entrepreneur peers. Applications are currently open, with a rolling deadline until funds are depleted.

In order to keep our gathering as safe as possible during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are requesting that all attendees wear masks if you’ve recently been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19, and please stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms.
