NAACP Freedom Fund Breakfast

The NAACP’S 34th annual Freedom Fund Breakfast will be held Saturday, June 3 at the Century House in Acushnet from 9 a.m. to noon.

The keynote speaker for the event will be Joseph D. Feaster, Jr., Esq., who serves as an executive committee member of the Massachusetts Association of Mental Health, Inc., co-chair of the My Brother’s Keeper Boston Advisory Board, and a former board member of the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) of Boston. Attorney Feaster will address this year’s theme: “Rebuilding Our Community: Stronger Together.”

In addition to the keynote address, the 34th Annual Freedom Fund Breakfast will feature a scholarship presentation to local high school recipients, an awards presentation honoring those who have contributed to the Branch’s growth and sustainability, and a raffle, as well as a full breakfast.
