Monday Movie Nights With Mocha: Heart of Glass

To complement and enhance New Bedford Art Museum’s summer exhibitions on glass works (Contemporary Glass Sculpture by leading and emerging Massachusetts artists & Barcelona Sea Glass and the Art Photography of Celia Pearson), the museum will screen Werner Herzog’s stunning early work, “Heart of Glass.”
Winner of Best Cinematography at the German Film Awards, Werner Herzog’s film “Heart of Glass” tells the story of a small town in Germany whose residents go to great lengths to recover the lost secrets to making ruby glass. New Bedford Film Society founder, Mocha J Herrup, Ph.D., will present and lead our post-film discussions. Snacks are included with admission.
