The Friday night kickoff opens the event from 7 –8 p.m. with a virtual lecture: The Spouter-Inn Revisited
by Christopher Benfey. Tickets are $20 for members and $25 for non-members.
Moby-Dick Marathon weekend continues with the 25-hour read-a-thon on Saturday and Sunday, with fun Melville-inspired activities, opportunities to chat with scholars from the Melville Society Cultural Project (MSCP), a Melville-inspired trivia game, and more.
The marathon will be streamed for free online via the Museum’s website and YouTube channel.
