Mattapoisett Quarry Walking Tour

“Hidden Histories and Invisible Industries” is a walking tour series sponsored by the Mattapoisett Museum.
As part of the series, Land Trust President Mike Hugueninam will lead a tour of the Hammond Quarry. The quarry produced the signature pink granite curbs and sidewalks in Mattapoisett and the granite lining the sides of the Cape Cod Canal.
The tour will meet at the entrance to the quarry trail on Mattapoisett Neck Road (about 100 yards south of Rte 6) to begin. Street parking will be available.
