Learn the process of sewing straight stitches on a machine. Students will make two tea towels, two square oven mitts, and a simple full apron. They will learn to thread and maintain a machine, how to avoid accidents, sew straight lines, control speed, turn corners, reverse stitch, turn the sewn fabrics right-side out, to lay and cut a pattern, stitch a hem, and all the essential beginner sewing details. The fee is $75 plus materials.
