January Artists of the Month
January 30, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

The MaiatoFitz Art Gallery is proud to present the January Artists of the Month: Mary Jodoin & William D. Jordan, III. Both photographers’ work is displayed in Studio 2-62 in the Kilburn Mill until Jan. 31.
The majority of Mary Jodoin’s creations focus on cityscapes and urban photography. She likes to capture images at a unique angle, like in a moving car. Rowing teams in Cambridge, Boston construction and local architecture are just a few of her subjects.
William D. Jordan, III is an artist and a writer. He’s an imagist who captures moments using an iPhone, cheap plastic, and pinhole cameras. Then, William digitally enhances and/or manipulates the photos. His current ongoing project, “Drive-By Shootings,” involves street photos. Generally, images are taken from a moving vehicle, a concurrent project combining distressed photos with accompanying haikus.
