Interior Department seeking public comment on proposed offshore wind development in the Gulf of Mexico

The Interior Department released a proposed sale notice for offshore wind development off the coasts of Louisiana and Texas on Feb. 24. BOEM is seeking feedback on the proposed sale of acres in that region. The proposed sales notice (PSN) contains information on the areas available for leasing, lease provisions and conditions and criteria for evaluating bids. A 60-day comment period began on Feb. 24 and will end on April 25 at 11:59 p.m. To comment, visit regulations.gov/document/BOEM_FRDOC_0001-0629.
