|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 9:00 am, repeating until November 28, 2021

Alison Wells creates paintings influenced by New Bedford’s rich architecture, the fishing harbor, histories of whaling, the Underground Railroad, its multicultural backbone, and the artistic veins that pump life and vitality into the city. Wells fuses these themes with her Caribbean culture and sensibilities to create unique and vibrant mixed media paintings in this series titled “In the Neighborhood.”
