Historic Bowling Greens ribbon cutting ceremony

A ribbon cutting ceremony for the Historic Bowling Greens at Hazelwood Park will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 22.

Mayor Jon Mitchell will formally open and celebrate the restored historic bowling greens at Hazelwood Park. Elected officials, city leaders, project supporters, local lawn-bowling and mallet clubs, local youth organizations, and national lawn-bowling advocates will join the event.

The event begins at 10 a.m. on the greens near the Rosemary S. Tierney Community Center, 553 Brock Ave. Parking is available at the Community Center, along Brock Avenue and at the nearby tennis courts.
