Our Revolution Greater Fall River and members of the community will honor the 140,000 people whose lives were lost after the United States dropped an atomic bomb on
Hiroshima, Japan on August, 6, 1945.

On the 78th anniversary the participants will gather with prayers for peace, to hear speakers discuss the ethical and environmental impacts, and to read survivor’s stories.

This event will take place at the Veteran’s Memorial Bicentennial Park, President Ave., Fall River. The gathering will meet on the north left side of the park, near the
water, beyond the Iwo Jima monuments where there are some picnic tables.
