From the Hold: Photographs of the Port (1860s–1980s) presents the ports of New Bedford and Fairhaven through archival photographs from Spinner Publications. See historic photos of the Scallop Festival and Blessing of the Fleet, fish markets, shoreside workers, union meetings, and more on view from April 13–June 30.
The exhibit will open during AHA! Night, Thursday, April 13 from 5-8 p.m. The Fishing Heritage Center is free of charge during this event, so make sure to come and see a century’s worth of history.
