May 5 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The Museum’s First Fridays continue with a Cinco de Mayo celebration on Friday, May 5. Enjoy the museum after hours, margaritas under the whale bones, traditional music of Mexico, and a participatory art project inspired by Mexico’s most iconic figures Frida Kahlo & Diego Rivera.

Join artist Alyn Carlson at the “flower crown” station and learn to make flowers of Mexico, and arrange your creations on a headband to have a forever crown of your own. (limited to 30 people, first come, first served).
