Financing For Artrepreneurs: How to Make, Save and Invest $$

May 16 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Filmmaker and content creator Ethan De Aguiar will host three peer-to-peer sessions, offering insight into financing for artists, video fundamentals, and creative marketing.

In this session, Financing For Artrepreneurs: How to MAKE, SAVE & INVEST $$$ as a Creative (May 16), Ethan will provide insight and advice on a range of finance topics such as: how to discover your worth/value, how to price yourself accordingly (creatives tend to nearly ALWAYS undersell themselves), how to negotiate those rates with clients, how to save on taxes/write-offs and tips on how to invest in growing your business.

Peer-to-Peer Sessions is a free and accessible (mostly) online series geared to enrich, educate and connect creatives through workshops and training sessions. New Bedford is the home of artists, creatives, change makers, designers, entrepreneurs, and community enthusiasts. The Peer-to-Peer Sessions embrace the pulse that makes New Bedford unique while expanding our knowledge and connections.
