Domestic Violence 101

A training hosted by the Massachusetts Office for Victim Assistance in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The training will be presented by Kayla Machado from the Women’s Center in New Bedford. It will cover the definitions of domestic violence and intimate partner violence, types of abuse, tactics abusers use to maintain power and control, legal options and consequences, the effects of violence and how to handle disclosure.
