DIY Guitar Fuzz Pedal Building Workshop

In this two-hour workshop, students build an analog fuzz pedal that fits in an Altiods Tin. Fuzz sounds were popularized by the psychedelic movement in the 1960s. Bands like The Cream, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Iron Butterfly, The Ventures, J. Mascis, The Cramps, The Stooges, St. Vincent, etc., use this guitar sound

Bring your own guitar and amp to try out your Altoids Fuzz as soon as the circuit is built. The soldering iron, parts, instructions, and all the tools will be provided.

Beginners and musicians are welcome. The instructor has 20+ years’ experience building, designing, and troubleshooting analog and digital circuitry. The workshop should last 2-3 hours and limit to six participants.
