Dartmouth Tree Walk at UMass Dartmouth
September 17 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The Dartmouth Tree Walk will be led by botanist and Professor Emeritus James Sears, who first began planting trees at the University in the 1980s, resulting in today’s noteworthy arboretum of nearly 500 trees—natives as well as non-natives from as far away as Asia.
Also, at the event, honorees of the Dartmouth Distinctive Tree Project will be announced for 2023, for the very first time.
Once on campus, park in Lot 1, pick up a map, and meet at the gathering place for a short introduction and history by 2:15 p.m.
