The Committee on Public Safety & Neighborhoods will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 10 in city council chambers at City Hall.

On the agenda:

  • Motion requesting a meeting with Eversource Electric to discuss power outage issues that continuously occur in the southern portion of the peninsula
  • Motion requesting the Schools Department investigate the feasibility of establishing an executive level position solely focused on public safety within the City’s public schools
  • Report recommending that the council review the current process for granting Street Disturbance Permits to determine if the current procedure should be modified
