The New Bedford City Council Committee on Ordinances will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 8 in city council chambers at City Hall.
On the agenda:
- Public hearing on three plots on Osborn Street being rezoned from Residential B to mixed use business
- A public hearing on an ordinance restricting Marijuana Establishment Hours of Operation to extend hours to 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- A motion to look at the current Abutter Lots program and see what improvements can be made to acquiring and moving these properties onto the tax roll, as well as meet with the tax title attorney to explain why the process is so complicated to roll over these vacant and abutting lots.
