Committee on Memorials and Dedications

The New Bedford City Council Committee on Memorials and Dedications will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18 at City Hall.
On the agenda:
- An application for a memorial park bench to be located by the bowling greens at Hazelwood Park in memory of Frank and Eunice Hamer.
- An application for a memorial park bench and plaque to be located at Ashley Park in front of Goulart Square Bakery in memory of Jose Gaspar.
- A motion to update the council on the progress of the Park Master Plan and discuss the recently implemented moratorium for tree plantings, benches and memorials within city parks.
