The New Bedford City Council Committee on Finance will meet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, in city council chambers at City Hall.
On the agenda:
- Communication from NB Retirement Board advising that on March 24 it voted to grant a cost of living adjustment of 3% to retirees effective July 1.
- Communication advising the Retirement Board on April 27 approved a one-time 2% additional cost of living adjustment for retirees, retroactive to July 1, 2022.
- A loan order from Mayor Mitchell for $7,850,000 for critically needed repairs to city-owned buildings, public spaces, recreational facilities, office space, roads and infrastructure.
