Stories are important. It is how we make sense of the world. Generations of children have no concept of what it was like to grow up in the ’30s, ’40s, ’50s, ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s. If a story isn’t shared, that experience will disappear in history, but if it is rediscovered within a story, it will live on for generations.
