Call for Art: Open Studios on the Sidewalk
March 21 - April 11

To celebrate the 2023 theme of “Shelter,” DATMA will highlight the critical role of artists in shaping and creating their local community, the ultimate shelter for a city. Up to 10 SouthCoast (from Fall River to Wareham, as far north as Brockton), artists will be selected and provided a $500 stipend to loan artwork files. Selections will be announced on April 21. It is free to apply. The exhibition will open June 22, 2023, and be exhibited on MacArthur Drive on New Bedford’s working waterfront.
All media will be accepted but must be submitted via Slideroom as a digital file, ultimately reproduced as large-scale photographs or QR codes if an audio-based artwork. The deadline is April 11. Apply here.
