Buzzards Bay Swim

Buzzards Bay Swim is a scenic point-to-point open water swim across outer New Bedford Harbor. Through the harbor and channel, swimmers pass by the iconic Butler Flats Lighthouse and the New Bedford Hurricane Barrier, one of the largest stone structures on the East Coast. A live steel drum band, pancakes cooked to order, gourmet coffee, and local beer await swimmers at the finish.
