Buster Keaton Silent Movie Double Feature

June 11 @ 2:00 pm

Two silent films will be shown featuring a live soundtrack on The Z’s Mighty Wurlitzer Organ, thanks to the Eastern Massachusetts Chapter of the American Theatre Organ Society.

The matinee will feature two Buster Keaton classics, One Week (1920) and Go West (1925), performed by organist Bernie Anderson, Jr. Ticket price is $10.

One Week (19 minutes)
Buster Keaton and Sybil Seeley star as newlyweds who receive a portable house as a wedding gift. But when he tries to construct it, things quickly go awry. Vintage physical comedy at its finest!

Go West (69 minutes)
With little luck at keeping a job in the city, a New Yorker (Keaton) tries to work in the country and eventually finds his way by leading a herd of cattle to the West Coast. He chaperones a thousand wild steers in a big City – and a thousand funny scenes.
